Room 81 was not open due to refurbishment. There is a mini bar menu in your room but nothing in the fridge, drawer or any where else. There was no message or indication of how you had to order or why it was no longer supplied. Breakfast was busy and noisy with a lot of choices. The bacon was cold however. we didn't use the pool but it looked inviting. Easy walk to beach and all that Broadbeach has to offer including Pacific Fair and the Star Casino. Mono rail is all but at the door.

I apologize for the confusion regarding the mini bar. We have transitioned to a mini bar menu system where guests can order items as needed via a QR code or by calling the reception. Regarding the noise from the air conditioning system near the ocean view rooms, we are actively looking into soundproofing solutions to ensure our guests' comfort and will consider this in our ongoing refurbishment efforts. We have been stying in this building since the 1980's. I absolutely loved the green granite all those years ago but unfortunately they are looking tired now. Time for a Reno.
