I was very disappointed with many aspects of our one night stay. I booked a room that was suitable for a person who was disabled. It most certainly was not. It was too small to accommodate a disability scooter and it would not be suitable for a wheelchair user. I was confined to one side of the room as the space between the bed and the wall unit was too small. The only concession was a shower chair and two emergency cords. The room was shabby and dated and most certainly wasn’t worth £153 plus £30 parking. Our room was on the third floor. In the morning we waited 15 minutes to find a lift that not only stopped at our floor, and had enough space for myself and the mobility scooter. A number of lifts were out of service. When we finally got to breakfast we were seated next to where dirty plates and cutlery were put. The breakfast itself was very nice. A lot of choice and very tasty. All in all a very disappointing stay

The hotel is well located and has nice bars. However, in my room the knob of the shower was simply detached and water flow was poor. A light bulb was broken and a cupboard door was broken. I let a white shirt for laundry and it came back with a new yellow round stain on it... Terrible experience but the manager really went the extra mile to compensate for it, and I appreciate his dedication.

I had a wonderful time. The hotel staff are extremely courteous and helpful. Right from prompt check in by Vinjilla to housekeepers and restaurant personnel, everyone was very pleasant.

I requested to have a room which was not looking at the main roads, meaning getting an odd room number which I got (873) ... unhappily this room is actually on the outside of the buildaing, so straight on the main road, being very noisy if I open the window.

Unfortunately I was allocated one of the older rooms and the air conditioning didn’t work. It was uncomfortably hot so only option was to sleep with window open, but my room was location on the side of hotel above the bypass so very noisey. Lack of sleep lead to poor score
