We went for my best mates wedding and stayed overnight at Q Station. Originally I had opted for just the one nights stay but now regretting not spending more time there walking around. Would suggest staying for more time if you could. The facilities were really nice. We stayed in Q buildings which are quiet nicely presented.

I attended a wedding on site and stayed overnight. The on site catering and presentation of the venue across the whole station was excellent. Staff are helpful, patient and friendly. The accommodation is clean, comfortable and well presented. Good bed, hot water, working appliances. I would recommend the Quarantine Station to anyone. The 24hr shuttle service is very helpful.

We had the absolute best time staying at Q Station. The accommodation is beautiful and the location is beautiful. The buffet breakfast ensured we were fuelled each day, and we needed it as we did so much walking! The ghost tour was fabulous.

This place is worth a stay based purely on its stunning location, serenity, wildlife and history. Unfortunately most of the staff I encountered, while friendly, seemed under trained or without basic hospitality skills. This made multiple elements of the accommodation experience frustrating.

Q Station is a lovely and historic place to stay. It is a long and hilly walk between rooms and beach or restaurants but the free hopper is great to take you between them. The views are beautiful. We had a couple of issues, firstly that the heritage suite rooms are much much smaller than it appears on the photos on the hotel website. We would have booked a different accommodation type if we had had any idea of this. I wish the website was honest about this as our stay would have been better in a different room type. Secondly the sofa bed in our suite was not made into a bed before we arrived. I phoned straight away to ask them to sort it out. After we came back from dinner 4 hours later it was still not changed so I had to phone again as the kids needed to be in bed as soon as possible. They did then sort this out but ideally it should have been made up as a bed before we arrived.
