The rooms and hallways stunk of mould, smoke I’m not sure. The pools were both closed, the restaurant was closed. I will never be back. I had book for myself and my employee I was embarrassed

Late check in due to flight arrival time. Disappointed that the water jug in the fridge was not filled and no ability for ice. Given temperatures in the NT are consistently high cold/chilled water should be a priority. No other issues but felt important at the time.

Pretty good

Overall good. Just one thing. I asked one of your staff members about my Accor and Qantas member points for my stay at your hotel, and she helped me well, but I still haven’t received any points yet. Please let me know what’s going on with the points for my stays at your hotel shown below; 15th to 16th of February, 2024, booking reference # 81… 17th of March, Day room (room number was 323 at Novotel hotel Darwin. Can’t remember the booking reference number…) Thanks, Makoto

My experience was okay except for a few shortcomings with the hospitality during my stay, my cousin and I were greeted by a man at the central service desk, he came across as slightly rude and hard to deal with. After I had checked into the room and provided all of my details, he proceeded to interrogate my 16 year old cousin for his ID, which was not necessary as he was not the person registered to the room and was merely a guest staying with me. When we got to our room in the novotel, there was many things that we instantly noticed, the room had a mould like smell and had multiple cracks in the walls and along cornices and skirting boards, we also noticed that the room that we received did not have two queen beds as requested, but rather 1 queen and two singles. The staff member who checked us in swapped our room to the one originally requested, which was appreciated. We were slightly disappointed that the lagoon pool was closed and we were not advised of this on check in, the lagoon pool is one of the main reasons we chose to stay at the airport resort over another accor location this particular weekend. This stay was okay, but compared to previous service at this resort, it seems the standards have dropped. This also paired with the fact that the resort is now charging $20 a night when the prices for the rooms, especially in the dry season are quite high is the reason I will definitely be considering other options the next time I choose to stay in Darwin.
