1. The laundry staff are thieves. I put some amount some amount of cfa in pocket of one of clothes and another 5000 cfa in the back pocket of a back Jeans trousers but the laundry never returned the money. I called them they told me they never found any money. On my last laundry request I intentionally put 3000 cfa in one of trousers just to test their honesty. The money was never returned and left. I recommend management to sack of the laundry works before they tarnish the image of the hotel. 2. The room cleans need customer service training. They don’t know how to talk to customers. I told one of the cleaners that there cockroaches in the room and she told me it’s because I ate in the room. By then I didn’t even eat in the room but later. 3. The rooms need to be fumigated because of cockroaches in the corners and went into the bin. 4. There’s need for more African food varieties like 2 Fevrier in Lome. I hope you will work on it.

The experience was amazing, the staff were absolutely engaging and extremely help. The management went the extra mile. And last not the least, the room and food was top class. I would strongly recommend that venue for your stay in Ivory Coast.

From the beginning, so much to improve : > 45mns to check in : only 2 members of staff facing 20 people wishing to check in... > no indication on the website of how to check in my colleagues for whom I had reserved a room...so whilst I was able to check in online, no instructions for the other 2 rooms as how to do it... > no staff to indicate that another document ( for the authorities ) was necessary to those waiting which could save time > only 2 treadmills in the gym : every morning, people were waiting > at least 4 treadmills needed, minimum...and machines not working due to faulty electric cables > pool needed a good clean, signs of algae > room was shabby, especially the bathroom, poor finishing and signs of mould > surprised to discover curdled milk at breakfast...which asks the question whether the cold chain is respected for other food... > 30mns to check out, 1 room having been charged twice...the people at the reception need to be given training in i) how to welcome guests and ii) how to use the system, they seem lost and very slow > staff in restaurant friendly All in all a very disappointing stay.

Needs a really big update

The African Cup was on so everywhere was booked found a room at the Novotel it was very very dated and expensive but everywhere was. The pool was heavily stained and the decking around was extremely dangerous with holes and metal trim hanging off. The staff were untrained and 9 out of 10 orders for drinks or food was wrong. Spoke to the manager who gave the impression he was aware but did nothing about it. The heat lamps over the buffet food need a really good clean. The hotel its self was clean. I wouldn’t stay here again though.
