Quirky brasserie with a view of the landmark Molitor swimming pool

  • Brasserie cuisine revisited

  • We favour short supply chains

  • View of the historic Molitor swimming pool

  • Quirky atmosphere and a programme of Live Music

Step inside this unique brasserie in the heart of the 16th arrondissement. Our chef revisits traditional dishes, infusing them with a touch of modernity and a hint of exoticism. Discover his authentic cuisine while contemplating one of the most iconic swimming pools in Paris.

Settle into one of the colourful sofas or trendy chairs of the Brasserie Molitor, in a light-filled space with a street art background. Relax as you browse through our bistronomic menu, seeking the perfect dish.

Try the vegetarian salad with its bold mix of black rice and red lentils, cucumber spaghetti and the subtle sweetness of figs and balsamic vinaigrette. More classic, but just as delicious, our signature croque monsieur with truffles and Comté cheese never disappoints.

We favour short supply chains, as shown by the plate of vegetables straight from the market or the burger made with French meat. The four seasons are the inspiration of our chef, who will not fail to stop by your table at the end of the meal.

On that note, let's talk about dessert. Light or rich? Fruity or chocolatey? If you're undecided, opt for the café gourmand, an excellent selection of treats. Enjoy it on the terrace, where the view of the huge outdoor pool gives the impression of being on a cruise ship.

La Brasserie Urbaine Molitor - Paris

A little history lesson

In 1929, the Molitor pool was opened by American Olympic swimmer, Johnny Weissmüller, aka Tarzan. It remained the most popular swimming pool in Paris until it closed in 1989. The site, now listed as a historical monument, then became a hotspot for graffiti artists. The story still continues at Brasserie Molitor, from where you can admire the mythic pool and fully absorb the building's creative energy.

Gregory Gbiorczyk

Born in the south of France, this was where Grégory began his career. He knew early on through contact with the women in his family that he preferred playing with pots and pans than trucks. He studied at the hotel school in Avignon while working in the family restaurant. He then went on to work at various prestigious establishments such as Château de la Messardière in Saint-Tropez and Kilimanjaro in Courchevel. But he wanted to work with the best in Paris. Eventually, he joined the team at Lucas Carton and soon after moved to George V in Paris, where he gained experience in haute and luxury cuisine.

Music too loud where we could hear each other talking
Brewery that does not live up to the establishment that houses it

    35 min pour avoir cocktail
Musique trop forte où nous pouvions nous entendre parler
Brasserie qui n'est pas à la hauteur de l'établissement qui l'abrite

(Translated by Google) Good restaurant with a view of the swimming pool, good welcome, pleasant but slow service (I don't know if it comes from the kitchens or the service)

Bon restaurant avec vue sur la piscine, bon accueil, service agréable mais lent (je ne sais pas si ça vient des cuisines ou du service)
